Cafe Pasquals
Breakfast, lunch or dinner. I’ve always gone for breakfast. Bright, festive, traditional & located in the heart of downtown Santa Fe! -
Paloma
Dinner: cute, rustic chic. If it’s warm, ask if you can sit on the back patio. -
Palacio Cafe
Lunch: great sandwiches & soup right near the Plaza. -
Tesuque Village Market
Breakfast: 7 minutes north of SF in a gorgeous little river valley. Get the eggs drowned in green chile, with two tortillas. -
La Choza
Dinner spot. In Santa Fe rail yard. -
The Shed
Dinner: considered the best NM food, but the wait can be endless -
Opuntia Cafe
Breakfast or lunch: alovely teahouse cafe that’s inside a greenhouse, in Santa Fe’s Baca Arts District -
San Marcos Cafe
Breakfast: a slightly longer drive (25 min), on highway 14 towards Madrid. This spot is attached to a farm & feed store, and you can watch a peacock flock while you munch on their amazing cinnamon buns. -
CAFE FINA
Breakfast: in former gas station on Old Las Vegas Highway, a short drive from SF. Great pancakes and omelettes!
